John from Riverside Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Much like we are are always tinkering with the bottom of our roster trying to find guys that can come in and not suck.....it looks like the bills are doing the same thing with coaches
RussellDopeland Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Rumour has it that Gil was suffering from plantar fasciitis which he used as an excuse to not fully commit to "the process". 1
Formerly Allan in MD Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Could be a personality thing. Or perhaps McD really likes what he's seen of and knows about Butler.

I can understand a position coach being replaced because of the underperformance of his unit. But in this case, I would think Byrd performance deserved a promotion or raise. Perhaps this is just a case of old fashion cronyism. If so it's a sad mistake by McDermott. Maybe this was a case where the players made the coach look good? Regardless, position coached change all the time. It's part of the business. Much more concerning when the coordinators are being flipped season in, season out...oh...wait a minute.

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Was he the coordinator for E-Wood’s press conference? ?
BadLandsMeanie Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 If John Butler is so great why he get his butt fired in Houston?
