Royale with Cheese Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) Here's the next question Fergy. Edited January 23, 2018 by Royale with Cheese 7 game series instead of one game
BringBackFergy Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 You have to give the Bears at least one game based on coaching alone. I mean, who's coaching the Sandlot kids? Is there an infield fly rule? The catcher for Sandlot team can talk smack...that might affect the Bears lineup. It's a close one, but I'd say the Sandlot gang takes four games.
Fadingpain Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 That's going to be a long, tough series. Bears in 7 games.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I say BNBs in 5. I count 11 v. 9... The Bad Bears got a deeper bench. Heck, they have a bench even if it is Rudi & Olgilvie... They have a relief pitcher!
Teddy KGB Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) Benny Rodriguez > Kelly Leak at baseball Kelly Leaks better off the field though. Sandlot in 5. Edited January 23, 2018 by Teddy KGB 1

But Kelly could give you three shut-down innings and a Lucky Strike in the dugout... & possibly an STD if anyone used the water fountain. That might get them through... 1
Dante Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I love the original Bad News Bears so much. They win in 6 games. Would win it in less but their pitching staff is a bit overworked.

I think the wild card is whether Ahmad can get on base consistently and set the table for Leak and Engleberg.
Buffalo716 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Great question buddy Ill give it to the sandlot gang... they got a future pro on their squad In 7 Edited January 24, 2018 by Buffalo716

Royale with Cheese Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 I asked my co-worker this question and he said he never even heard of either movie. My might report him to security because something is fishy about a guy in his 40's who has never heard of these movies.
Greybeard Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Benny made it to the major leagues. Consider how much talent he had. Benny pitches and bats 3rd. That tips the scales by a large margin. Besides the sandlot kids played on a sandlot. If you can field on that, when you get to a decent field it only makes you better. And I am guessing the bears were probably younger. Sandlot had no age limit. Sandlot in 5. 1 1

Tyrannical, poor sportsmanship dynasty... All artificial! Joey got to see how much fun the Bears were having under Buttermaker! That all comes crashing to an end when Roy decides to smack Joey around on the mound. Engelberg circles the bases and the tyrannical dynasty under Roy is broken! Joey, with help of his agent: Mom Turner... Becomes a free agent and the Bears pick him up before they play those Sandlot punks! I wanna see the Pats** end up this way.
