So he could spend half the season on injured reserve while playing only in short yardage situations where Jason Peters or Sam Adams are probably more effective?

King created quite an alternate reality with that series. It kept my attention for over a decade (off and on of course since he made us wait years b/t books). i ake.....

I think after the Wolves the tale dropped off in quality.
