What are the thoughts on him? I admit I've never seen him play, but from someone who has, what do you think? I understand he's a FCS QB, but from everything I've read he seems to be a leader, smart, accurate, and has decent arm strength with good height. Would he be a good get for the Bills in the second, or is there even a chance he rises to the late first round if he impresses at the senior bowl?

I've watched a few of his games...I prefer him over Mason Rudolph at least. I have Lauletta as my #6 QB right now (the top 5 all being deserving of being taken in the 1st round IMO). He shows really good ball placement on his throws. However, I don't think the arm strength is very good. Rudolph also doesn't have good arm strength, but he's at least able to get the ball downfield by adding more arc to it; Rudolph just struggles to throw with velocity (and does have a tendency to underthrow due to putting too much arc). Lauletta's velocity is probably slightly better than Rudolph, but he struggles more to actually get it down the field. He also, much like Rudolph, doesn't show very much in terms of going through progressions. Lastly, he's already had a torn ACL, which isn't a career ending thing anymore, but obviously it's not a great thing to have in your medical history.

I'm definitely curious to see how he looks at the Senior Bowl and Combine; for now, I'd be alright taking him in like the 3rd round. With his ball placement, I think there's at least some hope that he can turn into a starting QB; the only QB in this draft class that I'd for sure put above him in terms of ball placement is Mayfield.

Just say no.  Tony Romo and Air McNair notwithstanding, I'm very wary of QBs that have really only seen FCS competition.  And honestly, Lauletta hasn't even been lights out at that level.

I am a Spiders Season ticket holder, and I just don't see Kyle being a good fit in Buffalo. Granted, next to TT , he looks like a gunslinger and throws plenty of 50/50 balls and

back shoulder throws. His accuracy is pretty good on crossing patterns and wheels routes where YAC is so important to the play. He is smart, tough, will hold on to the ball and take a hit to make a play. and his play usually elevates in bigger games. He has had some stinkers against bad teams as well, but the CAA is pretty tough game almost every week.

Having said that, I just think his balls do not have the velocity and "zing" needed in the NFL, especially his 20+ yd passes. I watch his balls and always think no way that ball cuts through any kind of wind or beats an NFL DB. That is more of a guess, as I really can't remember ever seeing him in a windy game. Up to me, i am not taking him, but wish Kyle nothing but the best.

BTW, his knee looked fine this year, and he took some good shots.

Peterman is already our late round developmental QB so unless they add one to the practice squad I don't think we go for a late round flier.

This is definitely the big concern with him from the games I've watched at least. He'd probably be a decent fit for the offensive scheme I expect Buffalo to utilize, but not necessarily in Buffalo's atmosphere.

One of maybe six quarterbacks in this years class who meets the Parcell's Requirements.  Seems to be a winner, but man does it appear he throws a lot of interceptions for that level of competition.

May be more Tom Savage than Joe Flacco.   Havent been able to watch much game film outside of that exact highlight example from youtube.

Arm strength looks to be only average- and we already have our weak armed QB on the roster
