Doc Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Yes, because keeping those guys would have meant the zebras would have favored the Bills.

buffaloboyinATL Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Such a cold take. Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. None of the players we traded or let go would have gotten us to the Super Bowl any time soon, if ever. It feels good to see the team moving forward with what appears to be a plan vs another band aid solution.

Well lets just think about this for one second using a tiny bit of context. First thats two players of one team. Second that 9-7 season was when he started his shenanigans in 2014. The very next year we had a completely ineffective Dareus an every year after that his play and availability was subpar. Its not coincidental that he got the contract in Sep 15 and his play, attitude, and availability deteriorated enough ti be traded and take on that cap hit. Gilmore was largely inconsistent his entire career here. He played only one full season for the Bills, refused to get his nose dirty tackling rbs when necessary and was the king of finger pointing. Those two didnt do anything special at all for the Bills. Dont try and rewrite history.

Yeah we were so much better with those players #ilovebeing8-8
ddaryl Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 hindsight being 20/20 I think the only reason this team was in the playoffs was because they shed some me 1st players and players that just did not fit the scheme.

Philly McButterpants Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I think this to myself frequently on this board. Today I'm gonna say it: Dude, step away from the glue pot.
