Marvlevydraftdaygenius Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 If the bills would've have not hired Mr. Beane they would be going to the Super Bowl this year. The trades this idiot made cost this team dearly and now the Bills are once again the laughing stocks of the league for letting go of so much talent. 1 8
26CornerBlitz Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I didn't agree with some of the moves, but they made the playoffs at 9-7 and have plenty of draft capital to improve the team. Super Bowl? No way and no one is laughing. 6

We seen what years of dareus and gilmore did here. It was nothing. 3

You might need to adjust your meds. 1 4
Happy Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 There is no way having Darby, Dareus, and Sammy together for the entire season would have made that big of a difference.

I don't even dislike TT like many here do but I can agree with this comment This team was NOT making the SB with the players they traded away. I might actually go as far as saying theres a really good chance they don't make the playoffs with all of them either. I think this team rallied around being the underdog and people not expecting them to do anything because they traded away good players. it led them to believe in what the coach was telling them.
Lfod Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I don't agree and you failed to convince me with your very detailed post.

aceman_16 Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I blame our short stint with the Toronto series (I did enjoy the Steamwhistle though).
Schmuggs Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Beane purged all of our talent just to spite whaley. Immaturity...

You are right. I think. I also think they beat Jax with all those guys but then are not in any good position to do a rebuild with draft picks they would not have this off season. Looking back now I am happy for how it all turned out. Bills had the most dramatic make playoffs moment after 17 season party like no NFL franchise in........like history. Bills fans put in good light for once donating to Dalton and Boyd's charities and now we have thousands of YouTube fan celebration vids to watch and get through winter/off season. Things are looking up for once.
Schmuggs Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 This new drought will make the old one look young. Beane and the bald ginger need to go. ASAP.
Straight Hucklebuck Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Watkins had <600 yards this season. I agree on the Darby trade, that was unneeded as we saw Matthews make 0 impact. None of the others mattered at all.

I think if we had kept Sammy we may have been able to scratch out 1more win. Sammy would probably run the right route and catch the football vs Panthers for example. Maybe our run D doesn't evaporate after the Mr Big Stuff trade and we beat the Jets maybe? Team would have been underdogs and was predicted to win 4 games BEFORE the trades. Coach McDermott would have been able to sell the underdog/everyone says we can't win schtick just as easily with those guys still on the team imho
