chef4131 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Lets hope the game is decided on the field by the 2 teams playing and there are no references of the Officials and the Pats getting all the calls-if the Pats win on merit so be it. 1
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Pats can't win on merit. The refs will make a bunch of momentum changing calls as usual, hoping to derail Jags drives or prolong Pats drives. Then there is the one call that really helps the Pats and leads to points directly before the half or early third quarter. If the Pats take advantage, then it leads to a 2 score lead and eventually the Pats win. If they don't and the opposing team is in position to tie it or go ahead, then there is usually a holding call or some other momentum killer that gives the Pats the ball back. This is where the will of the opposing team usually breaks and the Pats march down the field with the aid of a PI, defensive holding or roughing the passer call. A crucial 3rd down is converted with the aid of this penalty and Brady marches it in. If for any reason the opposing team comes back again and somehow makes it close, then we get the crucial OMG WTF was that call that seals a Pats victory. It is so scripted, watching every Pats game is the same. An opposing team really has to totally outplay the Pats and the refs to win. I put the betting line at +10 (points affected by adding to Pats or subtracting from opponents) for each game. So you have to beat them by 2+ scores to win. 2 1
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I can go with this. I turned the Pats/Titans game off. I think the Pats would have won anyway, but I felt the momentum was clearly shifted by some questionable ref calls 2
Beast Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) Actually, I hope there is a call so agregious that the NFL finally does something to address the issue, Edited January 21, 2018 by Binghamton Beast 1 1 2
FearLess Price Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Jax can slow the pats down with defense but im not sure they have enough offense to win. could be an upset but doubt it with my tin foil hat on.

A team of ALL-PROS that are not from the Cheats may not be able to beat them in Foxboro with the NFL offices doing their thing. Sad truth is they'd like to not see Jax in SB.

That would garner more fan interest in the sport. They are losing fans not just due to the poor officiating but because that officiating tends to favor the same teams. People don't want dynasties. They want to see THEIR team have a fighting chance. That's when they can get excited! 2 1
SinceThe70s Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 ...let's hope that Brady is a bitter, defeated man. 3
sleeby Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 . . .that tommy is berating some teammate on the sidelines and looking like he might start crying any moment. 1
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 first time I see a questionable call go the pats* way, I wont be there at the end of the game, it'll be shut off.
boyst Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 i will not be watching. my fork was in the nfl as soon as the bills went out. at this rate, i doubt i'll watch the super bowl for more than 10 minutes. i hope at the end of the day, though, brady is dead, cold as ice and a corpse dead.. i'm ok with being that guy. hell, i'm proud to be. 2 1
CommonCents Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 The Jags would be a ratings killer for the SB, if they are good enough to put any pressure on the Pats the flags will fly. I'm afraid they won't even need to assistance this week. Cheers to a miracle.

Except you know the yellow team would be the Pats and Brady. They would then claim the collapse was caused by all of Gronks spikes weakening the ground bellow Gillette creating sink holes. Science could back it up........ I would rather see it go further and not just swallow the stadium but the entire area.... 1 1

Jasovon Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Over under on overturned Jags Touchdowns? I think 1.

NFL should hire me to book next years playoffs.
ExWNYer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 ...let's hope that a Brady scramble out bounds leads to a collision with Marrone and each of them shreds both of his knees.. But, hey, that's just me.
