PICK

1

CLE.png

Sam Darnold - QB, USC

The Browns finally land their franchise signal-caller.

PICK

2

NYG.png

Saquon Barkley - RB, Penn State

I could easily see the Giants addressing the quarterback spot here, but instead they opt for the best player in the draft.

PICK

3

IND.png

Bradley Chubb - DE, N.C. State

The Colts have several needs to address, but a premier pass rusher is at the top of the list.

PICK

4

CLE.png

Minkah Fitzpatrick - DB, Alabama

The Browns need more dynamic playmakers on both sides of the ball and Fitzpatrick is the best option available.

PICK

5

DEN.png

Quenton Nelson - OG, Notre Dame

I think the Broncos will address their quarterback need in free agency, which would free them up to take the best available player in this spot. Nelson is the best interior O-line prospect to enter the draft in a long time.

PICK

6

NYJ.png

Josh Rosen - QB, UCLA

Rosen is ready to start right now and he would give the Jets a key building block on the offensive side of the ball.

PICK

7

TB.png

Marcus Davenport - DE, UTSA

Davenport reminds me of Ziggy Ansah coming out of BYU, and the Bucs need to add some life to their pass rush.

PICK

8

CHI.png

Denzel Ward - CB, Ohio State

The Bears need some offensive firepower, but they can accomplish that in free agency and the middle portion of the draft. Ward lacks ideal size, but he's a dynamic playmaker with the tools to play inside or outside.

PICK

9

SF.png

Tremaine Edmunds - LB, Virginia Tech

Edmunds is one of my favorite players in the draft. He has a rare blend of size, speed and athleticism. He would be a perfect complement to Reuben Foster at the second level of the49ers' defense.

PICK

9

OAK.png

Roquan Smith - LB, Georgia

Smith is a bit undersized, but he makes plays sideline to sideline and provides a physical presence in the middle of the field.

PICK

11

MIA.png

Josh Allen - QB, Wyoming

This would be a bit of a surprise, but theDolphins can't continue to rely on Ryan Tannehill.

PICK

12

CIN.png

Connor Williams - OT, Texas

Williams saw his stock drop a little bit this fall, but I still believe he's the best offensive tackle in the draft class.

PICK

13

WAS.png

Baker Mayfield - QB, Oklahoma

The Redskins have a big decision to make withKirk Cousins. If they decided to move on from him, Mayfield would be a perfect fit in this system.

PICK

14

GB.png

Mike Hughes - CB, UCF

Hughes has outstanding fluidity and ball skills. His upside is very enticing.

PICK

15

ARI.png

Vita Vea - DT, Washington

This isn't a pressing need for the Cardinals, but in this scenario, Vea is just too good to pass up.

PICK

16

BAL.png

Orlando Brown - OT, Oklahoma

The Ravens need to address the wide receiver position, but they have a good track record of filling that void with veteran players in free agency. Brown would immediately start at right tackle for Baltimore, just like his father did a little more than a decade ago.

PICK

17

LAC.png

Derwin James - S, Florida State

James was made to play in Gus Bradley's defenses. He's a more explosive version of Kam Chancellor.

PICK

18

SEA.png

Isaiah Oliver - CB, Colorado

Oliver has excellent size and speed. He can locate and play the ball down the field. TheSeahawks are likely headed toward a rebuild in the secondary.

PICK

19

DAL.png

Maurice Hurst - DT, Michigan

Hurst has an explosive first step and he'd excel playing the 3-technique for Rod Marinelli.

PICK

20

DET.png

Billy Price - C/OG, Ohio State

Price can play any of the three interior positions and his nasty demeanor fits with what GM Bob Quinn is building in Detroit.

PICK

21

BUF.png

Da'Ron Payne - DT, Alabama

The Bills traded away Marcell Dareus in the fall and they need to add another difference-maker to their defensive front.

PICK

22

BUF.png

Josh Jackson - CB, Iowa

There is some concern about Jackson's deep speed, but he has the best ball skills in the entire draft class.

PICK

23

LA.png

Isaiah Wynn - OG, Georgia

Wynn was an undersized offensive tackle at Georgia, but I believe he has Pro Bowl potential as an interior offensive lineman.

PICK

24

CAR.png

Calvin Ridley - WR, Alabama

The Panthers continue their recent trend and add another explosive weapon for Cam Newton.

PICK

25

TEN.png

James Daniels - C/OG, Iowa

Daniels is the best center prospect in the draft and I believe he could play guard if needed. I think you will see his stock soar over the next few months.

PICK

26

ATL.png

Harrison Phillips - DT, Stanford

Phillips has outstanding power and I believe he's an underrated athlete. He dominates against the run.

PICK

27

NO.png

Christian Kirk - WR, Texas A&M

I'd love to see Kirk line up and play in this offense with Drew Brees. He's the most polished wideout in the draft.

PICK

28

PIT.png

Donte Jackson - CB, LSU

I wouldn't be shocked if the Steelers took a running back like Derrius Guice or Ronald Jones here, but I have them landing a very talented cornerback instead. Jackson has inside/outside flexibility and he might be the fastest player in the entire draft.

PICK

29

JAC.png

Hayden Hurst - TE, South Carolina

The Jaguars need to add another tight end and I love both Hurst and South Dakota State's Dallas Goedert. Either option would be a nice fit.

PICK

30

PHI.png

Rashaan Evans - LB, Alabama

The Eagles love explosive defenders who play with an edge. Evans fits that profile.

PICK

31

NE.png

Mike McGlinchey - OT, Notre Dame

The Patriots could lose Nate Solder in free agency. McGlinchey could step right in and take his place.

PICK

32

MIN.png

Arden Key - DE, LSU

Key could drop because of some off-field issues as well as an inconsistent fall. However, his upside is outrageous and Mike Zimmer would be the right coach to help him reach that level.

I like Jeremiah and think he's pretty smart. If I remember right he predicted Spiller to the Bills with our first pick. Not many people thought that, certainly not me.

He does not see Jackson and Rudolph as first round QBs. He has the Bills filling holes instead of picking either one. Personally I can understand passing on Rudolph but I can't see the Bills passing on Jackson if he falls to them. In fact I think he will go before we pick. But that's just me.

He has the Broncos passing on a QB? They will take Josh Allen and Jets will take Mayfield. There's zero chance we get out of the top 10 without 4 QB's taken. Also the Cardinals literally don't even have a QB on their roster but they take a DT? Not happening

If the board fell this way I would make one pick and trade down with the other. If we can't get up for a quarterback, it makes sense to either grab two immediate starters, or grab one player and trade down to gather more draft currency. Though I do like Payne and Jackson.

My defense of DJ is that he thinks those teams will fill the QB position is free agency. Whoever gets guys like Cousins, Bridgewater, McCarron, maybe even Bradford, do not have to absolutely draft a QB. They still could, but they don't have to. Those guys are in their prime and going to require a significant commitment.

An OG in the top 5 to a team that is a QB away form making the SB?  If the Broncos address QB in FA they still don't take an OG in the top 5.  If Josh Allen drops out of the top 10 then even I would recommend going up to get him.  I would give both 21 and 22 and next years second and third to go up ten spots and get Allen.   He is the only QB I would move up to get and he is the only one worth more than one draft pick.

I totally disagree with his QB treatment as well.

Not sure many would agree with this guy that Darnold is the first QB taken; I think most would take Rosen first or even Baker Mayfield.

Not sure many agree with that one.  Kid has lots of question marks surrounding his game at the NFL level.

I'll bet Cousins winds up in Denver.

Got us taking another Cornerback.  This is why u don't trade Ronald Darby with 2yrs left on his deal.  Philly fleeced us on that one. Matthews is a average Wr that might not of made the team in Philly  and a 3rd is not enough for a corner that i seen Philly using one on one with Julio Jones for most of the game. Darby is a upper echelon corner we should of given him more time to adjust to our new system and culture. Sometimes u got to give guys time to buy in.

that's what happens when you blow up the coaching staff. . they do things their way.    Bills D was good this year.    Not sure why everyone is freaking out about the Defense.

The Bills D was good at times this year.  Our run defense is still suspect and those 3 straight blowouts were downright terrifying.

Several draft gurus have the BIlls focusing on Defense with those first two picks.

Assuming they address the QB need through Free Agency, I like taking a top DT and LB in the first round (no corner though). It makes a strong unit stronger, and as the Jags have reminded us, a strong D can take you places in the NFL.

Yeah, most mock drafts are silly, but this one is just laughable.  If any team in the top five picks a guard instead of Rosen, their GM should be fired immediately.

And if the Bills pass on Calvin Ridley for a CB, my TV screen better duck.

The secondary was excellent this year. The front 7 was awful...

I think the world of Jeremiah; he has the experience of a scout and has been offered GM jobs

I'm not huge on Payne, but Jackson at 22 would be a HUGE get. If Gaines isn't re-signed that would make a ton of sense.

Yep. Josh Allen is freakin awful.

Whenever I look at a mock draft I of course go to the Bills picks first...but then I immediately look at the players the author shows being selected right AFTER the Bills pick. In this case I'm not convinced the Bills are taking a CB with some of the offensive linemen and WRs still available right after them. (It's also interesting to see the players shown right BEFORE the Bills pick. It gives you an idea of some others who 'might' be there at 21.) I couldn't care less who's being taken in the Top 10! The Bills are NOT moving up.

Regarding Quenton Nelson, I think there's a very realistic shot he goes in the top 5. I think #7 is probably as far as he drops. I think teams are realizing just how important the interior O-Linemen are nowadays and Nelson looks like he can come in and be an All-Pro as a rookie. Assuming Denver gets a QB like Cousins in free agency as Jeremiah seems to be predicting, shoring up the O-Line would be a great move.

I'm sure Bean and McDermott can't wait to draft an athletic QB with accuracy issues after their Tyrod experience.  Jackson is without a doubt a project as a passer and I don't see the Bills going near him.
