They lost two starting offensive linemen this offseason and need immediate help up front. 22 Buffalo Bills Lamar Jackson QB Louisville Analysis: This is the contingency plan if the Bills can’t move up and draft one of the top three quarterbacks.

Very interesting. Would much rather have an ILB than a stafety with our 4th pick. What up with that?

Not a fan of this entire mock LOL. I see nothing in it that says the team is better.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 Buffalo Bills Round 1 (12): Baker Mayfield, QB, OklahomaRound 1 (22): Rashaan Evans, ILB, AlabamaRound 2 (53): Carlton Davis, CB, AuburnRound 2 (56): Jordan Lasley, WR, UCLARound 3 (65): Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hays StateRound 3 (96): Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State There is certainly a possibility the Bills package 12 and 22 (with some other picks) to go up and get a higher-ranked QB. If they don't, they have six picks in the top 96 to help a roster that has some areas of need. Mayfield is the most experienced QB in this class and would likely compete for the starting job with AJ McCarron. Evans is a solid linebacker with good pass-rush skills. Davis would provide insurance if the Vontae Davis signing doesn't work. Lasley has first-round abilities at wideout, but has fallen because of off-field issues. Shepherd is a good small-school player and could help fill the hole left by trading Marcell Dareus. Jones provides help on an O-line that lost Cordy Glennin a trade.
Turk71 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 MJDs mock draft has the Bills trading up to 5th and taking Allen while Denver gets Mayfield at 12 and Payne at 22. That would just suck imo, would much rather have Mayfield and Payne(or someone) than just Allen. Don't put any stock in all these mocks but that scenario would particularly suck I think. 1

26CornerBlitz Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 Buffalo Bills Round 1 (12): Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia TechRound 1 (22): Lamar Jackson, QB, LouisvilleRound 2 (53): Anthony Miller, WR, MemphisRound 2 (56): Billy Price, C/G, Ohio StateRound 3 (65): Carlton Davis, CB, AuburnRound 3 (96): Daurice Fountain, WR, Northern Iowa So let's assume Buffalo keeps all of these six of these, which I don't think is likely. (Remember: No trades in the "Grade: A" mock!) The Bills have the picks to move up for a quarterback if they want, but they also have the picks to plug holes on a flawed roster. In this scenario, the Bills get two of the draft's best athletes with their first two picks. Edmunds and Jackson are both raw, but they have the upside to be Pro Bowl players. And with AJ McCarron on the roster, Jackson wouldn't have to start in Week 1. Miller and Price could step in and play immediately. Buffalo added Vontae Davis on a one-year deal but needs another corner opposite Tre'Davious White. Fountain is an under-the-radar big-play threat who had 12 touchdowns as a senior in 2017.
K D Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Gotta fill all of those holes! Then next year have those other holes to fill too.
K D Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Apparently Sam Darnold will be the 1st and 2nd pick of the draft lol

Hurst at 22? Sure. Rudolph at 12 or anywhere in round 1 is horrid. Edited April 12, 2018 by 26CornerBlitz
26CornerBlitz Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 2) **TRADE (from NYG) - QB Sam Darnold, USC 56) (via LAR) - DT Nathan Shepherd, Fort Hays State 65) (from CLE) - LB Josey Jewell, Iowa

Steal.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 5. Buffalo Bills (trade with Broncos) – UCLA QB Josh Rosen Bills determined to trade up and get their QB; Broncos net a bushel of picks.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 13, 2018 Author Posted April 13, 2018 12. Buffalo Bills (from Bengals): Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma The Bills paying AJ McCarron backup-type money and trading into this spot while also holding the No. 22 overall pick suggests they are making a strong play for franchise quarterback early, either by trading up again or staying put. Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott from their days in Carolina should be well aware of how far a defense, a running game and a dual-threat QB can take a team. Mayfield has the "it" factor to finally give Buffalo a long-term solution. 22. Buffalo Bills (from Chiefs): Leighton Vander Esch, ILB, Boise State The Bills can continue their Panthers copycatting with this pick after getting their Heisman-winning QB earlier in the draft. McDermott needs someone to fly to the ball in the Luke Kuechly/Thomas Davis vein, as Lorenzo Alexander, who turns 35 in May, is their best linebacker.
