Another Fan Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 If anybody's interested, there is a YouTube channel by Jean Paul Mueller that has a lot of mid 90's games up. It's memorable to me in 93' we got some sort of revenge by beating the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys in the same year. Good stuff though he has: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpr9M9dAvpcwvH05sJ9xwcQ 1 1

Small consolation for sure, but a reminder of how dominant that team was regular season and playoffs except for the SB. We all know about the sustained excellence of Marsha and Belicheat but unless I'm mistaken they never went to more than 2 SB's in a row.
RiotAct Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 awesome stuff! The 1994 season is, unfortunately, the first one I remember clearly (I was 7 at the time).

If they make it this year it would be 3 straight, which is why I'm rooting even harder than normal against them. Im not sure who is going to stop them, though. Someone said of the 4 teams left that it was David vs David vs David vs Goliath and I thought that was pretty accurate. lol
Maine-iac Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) Is the Bill's vs Eagles game in there? Damn ............ looking for the 1990 Bills vs Eagles. Such an awesome game. Edited January 19, 2018 by Maine-iac

The year before last year the Broncos beat the Panthers. Lol thank God for Peyton. 11 minutes ago, Maine-iac said: Is the Bill's vs Eagles game in there? I didn't see that play go down live but it's one of the sickest I've ever seen.

The 2015 Broncos won the SB in Feb, 2016, where they beat NE in Denver to win the AFC Championship. The 2014 Pats* beat the Seahawks in Feb, 2015.

The problem is overcoming "David" Bortles. 1

That actually makes me feel quite quite a bit better. lol I was thinking they won back to back SB's and this year would be their 3rd appearance in a row (if they make it), but I forgot that Denver won 2 years ago. It really speaks to what an accomplishment what the Bills did was. Even with how dominant the Patriots have been they haven't been able to replicate 4 straight appearances (and the Bills didn't have the cake walk through the AFCE the Pats have faced for a decade). Although I would take all their SB wins over the Bills 4 straight losses... lol

Had the Bills won just one SB, they probably would be looked at in a better light. This feat will never be accomplished again, not with FA like there is today. The Dolphins always presented a problem in the late 80s thru early 90s. As much as I hated them back then, they had very good teams. Four straight with no wins vs five wins...tough one, but you may be right. It would have been nice to win at least one, though we probably should have won two of them. 1
