Jobot Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 In any high profile business, anyone who doesn't continue to improve year after year is out of a job. Unless you're Rex Ryan.
Helpmenow Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 He looks he is now is medication. Look at him hands on knees on saying a word. maybe it was his wife hating buffalo

xsoldier54 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Wouldn't put too much stock in anything Dareus says. He's a complete douchebag as is Maroon.

He had a job, but not a secure job. He's many times more secure in JAX, because he would not have been a BILL going forward.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 Just now, Marv's Neighbor said: He had a job, but not a secure job. He's many times more secure in JAX, because he would not have been a BILL going forward. Still would have had a job as a player in the NFL trade or no trade.
Chicken Boo Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) Who knows better, the affects of changing your "tough guy" approach to coaching, than Tom Coughlin? Edited January 18, 2018 by Chicken Boo 1

Captain Murica Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Cool, but, PDA is frowned upon. Get a room Marcell and Doug!
turftoe Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 These 2 guys deserve each other. Go Patriots! I can't believe I just said that.
HOUSE Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 The team was going thru an ownership change and there was big pressure on everyone including Doug Whaley
BillsFan4 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I have to think that Tom Coughlin had a lot to do with this. His own change in coaching style from a very hard nosed, disciplinarian who was hard to p,aynfor and rubbed players the wrong way to more of a players coach is well publicized. He almost lost his job over it, until John Mara told him he had to change or he'd be let go. He said players have changed. So you you must change too. Coughlin agreed. http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/tom-coughlin-changed-ways-won-giants/story?id=36089018 https://www.stand-deliver.com/columns/team-building-mentoring-and-coaching/806-tom-coughlin-s-leadership-style-metamorphosis.html 1
Klaista2k Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I find it concerning that McDermott/Beane decided to basically give Dareus away without even trying to work with him. He's still very young and one of the most talented defensive tackles in the league. Just stupid IMO.
thenorthremembers Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Kinda funny if you replace the words Buffalo with Syracuse and Dareus with Mike Williams this same exact article was written when the Bills signed Mike Williams and St. Doug picked him up at the airport. 1
Jerome007 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 One of those games you wished the two teams would lose...
cage Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I think Marrone started out relaxed, laid back and personable. It was once the Buffalo press started getting tougher on him as they were losing (and some poor in-game decisions) that he got more ornery and nasty. At the moment, the Jacksonville press is loving him, so he's not dealing w/ any difficult issues.
