It's not whether it's "ok" or "not ok."  It's I DON'T GIVE A **** WHAT GOES ON BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS.  Didn't with Clinton, don't with Trump.

I guess wanting higher moral standards for someone with incredible nuclear arsenal is too much to ask. :(

The "But Clinton" thing really does apply here! Trump the scum bag groping women is catching up to him

The Post reports:

A New York judge said Tuesday that a defamation lawsuit against President Trump related to an allegation that he sexually harassed a former “Apprentice” contestant may go forward.

Summer Zervos filed the suit last year after Trump said publicly that she and other women making similar claims made them up. Trump sought to block the legal action, but New York Supreme Court Judge Jennifer G. Schecter, citing court precedent that led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in 1998, said that “a sitting president is not immune from being sued in federal court for unofficial acts.”

I'm going to laugh my you know what off if President Trump gets impeached for lieing about sex.

Not sure I get the connection but I do know I wouldn't want Mother Theresa in charge of our nukes.

More like it's a complete non-indicator, whether or not the commander of the nuclear arsenal is a celibate monk, and juvenile point of view.

DC, I get that you don't give a **** about Trumps' infidelities....but doesn't the issue of whether he is paying large sums of money important?  Doesn't that suggest that he may have secrets that he doesn't want people to know?  That he is suseptible to being black-mailed?

!@#$ you.  I don't give a **** about ANYONE'S infidelities.  Stop trying to make this a "DC Tom is a Trump supporter" argument.  It's a "DC Tom doesn't give a **** about the personal choices between consenting adults" argument.

Really?  We're dusting off this tired old argument?  I remember when it was "Bill Clinton getting blow jobs in the Oval Office made him susceptible to blackmail."  And it was bull **** then.  How the hell does Trump's lawyer paying a porn star he had an affair with in exchange for signing an NDA make him a blackmail target?

I'd like to say this is nothing more than Democrats holding a grudge against the Republicans for the Lewinski bull ****...but I actually believe that's giving this story more credit than it's due.  It's just Democrats throwing salacious nonsense against the wall and hoping something sticks.  What's truly sad about that is they're spending so much time trying to cast aspersions on his character (which can't be done: he doesn't have any) that they're ignoring the substantial criticisms to be levied against him.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you are a Trump supporter. You've made it sufficiently clear that you are not. I can see where that would be insulting...

I don't necessarily care about his infidelities on their own...but I also don't completely dis-regard the Russia probe. I think he is compromised.  I also think it speaks volumes about the character of the man, that paying for silence, and insistence on NDA's in nearly every facet of his life (before and while in the White House), just really speaks to his credibility. He has such false pride, can never admit when he is wrong (even when it has to be obvious to his blindest of supporters), you can't help but wonder what lengths he will go to hide something that would embarass him.

Before Clinton peccadilloes were held to one standard

During the Clinton administration those peccadilloes were re-explained

Don't hate Republicans for holding Trump to the same standards as Clinton

Of course not. It would be better to have the respect of other foreign leaders. jmo

Would not be surprised if Russia knew his weakness and set him up there for future blackmail.

You guys that think this way are nuts. Trump has much more respect from other leaders than Obama ever had. It may be begrudgingly, but they know he means business.

What gives you the idea that Russia had one iota of success in setting up Trump for the presidency? It would appear that all they did was make some very minor efforts to spread chaos by attacking whoever the frontrunner was and pushing the underdog. When Trump won he was then their target.

Well, that's well documented.
