I generally find his sources to lack all manner of objectivity. I'll skip doing deeper CNN research not because I care, but because I felt dumb having done it initially. You can win. Is it surprising though? For two years, very sane, very rational people on the left (and down here) have been pushing a baseless conspiracy theory about Trump and Russians. If they're willing to believe, without a lick of evidence despite two + years of investigations now, that Trump and Putin conspired to steal an election, of course they'll believe he set Avenatti up.
