why are we getting rid of Anderson again ?

The new guy has played a lot of games and gives experience from a tough tough D in Seattle. Seahawk brass thought enough of him to bring him back in a trade for a 5th round draft choice to play when Chancellor was hurt.

Colt Anderson can not stay on the field with Bills so is of little use and based on McDerma philosophy that best player trait is "availability". Anderson will not be long on this Bills roster.

The question is why he is on the team in the first place

Anderson is also a FA this offseason.  He's not a scrub, he just can't stay healthy.  I see this move as the replacement - and an upgrade. The 1 year off may be indicative - he had a tryout with the Chiefs late in the season and they passed - but that could have been due more to immediate need versus having an offseason.

He re-signed with the Chiefs that offseason, but was traded to Seattle for a fifth-round pick in Sept. of 2015.

So he’s at least as good as Dareus!

The new guy might be better in coverage but without Rexy around no way to say for sure.

His election to the All-IR Team was deemed anti-Process

As was the INT that went through his hands.

trust the process.  they are just roster building.  Its all good.  top calibre special teamers who can also play a position at an NFL level are hard to come by.   grab them when they become available.   Colt Anderson is an injury machine.   My sense would be the coaches are regrettably done with him ...

Agreed

Hyde getting knocked out of the Playoff game was an underrated factor in the loss

How many points would we have given up if he had played the whole game, 2?
