D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 He should probably just retire now because he is smart and going to get a great degree. 1

We should grab one early If the strength of the draft is RB then wouldn’t it make sense to pick one in the later rounds and use our top 4-5 on the 25 or so other positions we need help at? 1

If my boy ever is a prospect, I tell him to go to the draft. 1 1

We need help in many areas for sure. The draft is top heavy with RB's. This years RB class might even be better the last year(Fournette, Hunt, Cook, Kamera etc). We should't pass two years of strong RB's. Our offense sucked last year . And that was with 31 year old Shady, What happens if he gets hurt? RB is a big need IMO. Along with QB, DT, Edge, MLB, G, WR, CB

But completely agree they need to draft one. It terrifies me how they didn’t address it last year. Hope there is a plan for this upcoming draft.

I don't think anyone agrees with me, but I just don't think Shady is back with Buffalo due to aforementioned age and contract. I think Beane and McD realize his current market value as a trade being higher than his cost to the team and find a trade partner for a mid-late round pick, I'll go 4th....to a team that needs a one year good to great RB to help round out the Offense for a contender....like, say the Colts. I could see Josh McDaniels thinking that a Rookie RB to be similar to the Demarco Murray / Derrick Henry duo with Shady....and Shady would be indoors, for Luck (presumably), in a winnable division despite the Titans, since Jags are going to be good but they also played a Luck-less team twice and got to 10-6....just a guess, but it would make sense to me.

We could get a stellar back at 21, and have a shot at QB 22- back field the next 5+ years! With 3 2nd rounders- DT, LB, WR
