Jamal Charles  played under Daboll in KC and had over 1500 yards in his offense. If Charles checks out and his knee is ok do we bring him in as Our RB2?

Sure, I'd be all for that -- add another young guy late in the draft or UFA, too and the RB position is set.

He's 31.  He's been injured (badly) multiple times in his career.  He's been [laced on IR 3 times. He's had 5 starts in the past 3 seasons.

 

Why would this be a good idea?  Because he once worked with the new OC when he was a young RB?

No thank you. He could barely crack the lineup in Denver, and he would be here for one year max. What's the point?

I was thinking Dion Lewis. He's a free agent and would fit in really well with Shady. He'd be a great 1-2 punch and you could keep them on the field together since they are such great recievers. They are great friends and Lewis is from Albany, NY. 

 

Great fit and obviously familiar with Daboll.

I wouldn't say no to him. Most yards after contact of any back in the league. Would still prefer to draft my own. Penny for my thoughts.

Not a great year in Denver on a run first team with a suspect starter.   Let's get younger, not older.

Living in Colorado, I watched Charles last year. He really didn't flash anything; that's why they didn't use him much. He's not Reggie Bush toast, but he's the next level of "done." Keep away.
