Steptide Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 (edited) Seeing how quickly they hired him (2 days after releasing Dennison) I think they knew before hand they wanted him. I don't think this will be as bad as some think. Edited January 14, 2018 by Steptide 2

I thought ken dorsey was the right guy. We need passing focused offense ccordinator, not another run guy. Doubt it was a money move as the Pegulas have proven time and again that money is no object. This seems more like a take what you can get move. Face it, we aren’t attractive to some candidates because other than Shady, and a couple decent linemen, our O is hurting for talent, especially at the skill positions.
Kmart128 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 He was gonna be Belichick's OC after McDaniels leaves. Stole him from right under his nose 4

I think he will do very well here. Came here to post this 1

Dealt with the Browns, then the Fish (where he raised the offense from 30th to 20th in one year) and then had to work with Matt Cassel in KC. 1

DrDawkinstein Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Pretty shocked, but then again what do we know. Not thrilled with his NFL OC history, but he does have a handful of rings from his time working with Pats offense. Lets see who he brings in as QB coach and we'll go from there.

Excuses the designs of the offenses and the playcalling where blah. Better options out there but will wait and see but at this point dont like it. There was no rush to hire Brian Daboll Edited January 14, 2018 by MAJBobby
Beast Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 The guy has been around a lot of winners. I like that. But, as with any hire, we’ll see.

Dorsey was the QB coach on a team that had its previous QB coach as it's OC. I have no clue how you've gathered that Ken Dorsey is the next great innovative offensive mind. The evidence just isn't there to give him an OC job. 1

BillsfaninChicago Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I have to plead ignorance here I didn’t know who he was until he was mentioned as a possibility on here a few days ago. Based on his resume though I am really excited to see what he can do. Wonder if this will give us an incite into the QBs we are going to go after in the off season.
