When Jerry Rice is considered by many to be the greatest football player ever any WR has a mountain to climb to pass him. Almost impossible! I'd argue Jim Brown is the #1, but either way no one is overtaking Rice as the greatest receiver ever.

Teddy KGB Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Big Ben would probably choose Deandre Hopkins
SDS Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I would like to think the GOAT would have gotten out of bounds on that play at the end of the game. Maybe that’s just me… 3

Heavy Kevi Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 At what point? Probably when he is deserving of it. As it stands he is not. He has been incredible and I get that, but longevity defines legends. When he can compare with Rice or Megatron, or even be as dominant with more than 1 QB we can start talking GOAT. But there are 5 or more years that need to go by before this is a legitimate debate.
Thrivefourfive Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Right now, he's the best pass catcher in the NFL. Bell is in the top five too. Rice will always be the best. Then Moss. But Brown is very very special. Amazing what he comes down with.

without a drought Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 (edited) I thought that Ronnie Harmon was the goat, but now meanings are all messed up. Edited January 14, 2018 by The Drought 1
GunnerBill Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Brown is the best WR in the NFL today.... but best ever?? Come on man.
Talley56 Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Not so sure he’s the best active receiver in the league. OBJ might have something to say about that.
