Livinginthepast Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Why is 4th and 1 the hardest call in the NFL????. Why does nobody but the Pats sneak it!! ????
stevestojan Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 It’s hard to call basic offensive plays in the NFL
boco357 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Getting bad coaching practice in for next week!
Big Turk Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 2 4th and under 1 plays, you have a 6'5" 250 pound QB and neither one is a QB sneak?? Coaches simply out think themselves too often...

Not exactly explosive players. Get the right blocking and timing, and Zay, DT, and Matthew could run effective screens. True, but it certainly helps open up the screen game when you have Roethlisberger with explosive WR’s on the outside.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Why is everyone blaming Haley? Did you guys not see Ben audible?

Mark Vader Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 The Steelers have made two of the worst play calls on 4th & inches in this game.
Mikie2times Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I can't stand how many stubborn NFL coaches refuse to sneak on 3rd/4th and 1.

You can get a really good running back in the 2nd round this year. I agree, and it'd really make our run game dynamic and a challenge for defenses. I'd throw away age with Shady. He apparently works out as hard as anybody and the main thing is he doesn't take shots like the average RB. Very very rarely does he take a big shot because of his running style, I think he has 2 elite years left, he showed zero signs of slowing down to me and adding a legit complement can preserve Shady and make the defense worry about 2 completely different running styles. Shady runs so unique, it can throw a defense off n will help Shady's production as well
JohnBonhamRocks Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Too bad Lee doesn't run a 4.1 forty...

They are definitely second to none. With better coaching the Steelers would be unbeatable. A defense would help a bit as well. Edited January 14, 2018 by DriveFor1Outta5
Livinginthepast Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 OMG I think Bortles just made the throw his life and won this game

RB value has gone down, IMO no need to spend any less then a 3rd on one in today's NFL. QB is main issue for this team to address because of it being a passing league IMO. I agree we had a thing for RBs taken early. LoL, funny how Thurman not a top pick was one of our best ever.
