I love all the people who say they won't watch the SB if the Pats are in.  I call bull ****.  What football fan doesn't want to watch the league championship game.  Why wouldn't you watch and cheer for the team playing the Pats?  Just a reminder...they have lost the Super Bowl previously in the BB/TB era.  ;)

Are you serious?

I have watched every Bills game for the last 27 years. Diehard is a term that fits.

I have not watched a single Pats Super Bowl, and actually have only watched probably 2 of the last 10. If the Bills aren't in it I don't really care. I'm done watching football this year as of 4pm last Sunday. I only watched the denver SBs because I wanted to see Peyton get another ring. Maybe I'm not a football fan as much as I am a Bills fan, but I would venture a guess I'm not the only one.

You must have missed Super Bowl XL (Steelers v. Seahawks)

No, I saw it but had to refresh my memory since it was 12 years ago.  There are bad calls made by refs in SB's and not just that particular SB, but I don't think the NFL will favor a team in the SB.  In the end, the Seahawks blew it.  See this article:

They were jobbed on two key calls in the first half.  One stopped a Titan drive (phantom PI call on Decker) and the other for a very questionable call claiming the Titans jumped off sides when NE was punting deep in their territory, which ended up giving them a 1st down.

Were the refs that bad last night?

I missed the game luckily

See above from the game day thread.  There were a couple of phantom calls in the first half that probably took some wind out of Tennessee's sails.  They're not a good enough team to recover from this and ended up getting blown out.

Ya sounds about right. Thanks for the update

Didn't watch last year and I am not watching this year. New England has already been given the championship. Only the blind can't see it.

Watched fiirst half of NE game...I've had enough of refs helping keep NE drives alive, and pushing them through every game.  It's starting to feel like WWF out there.  I'm not watching another game with NE in it, which probably means I'm skipping out on the SB. Ill still watch Pitt game tmrw, and NFC games, but I'm done handing that team even one viewer.

I doubt it will add up to much, but if you're tired of pre-determined outcomes, everyone should turn these games off.

I stopped watching them.  It is just better that way.

No BS ... Last year I had absolutely no desire to watch the patriots win another Super Bowl so some friends and I went to the casino instead. I hadn't missed a Super Bowl since the early 1970's, I even watched one while vacationing in Jamaica.

Nothing has changed on that front and we're already planning on the casino this year as well as we're all just sick of the patriots and the BS that goes along with them. If the patriots are in this years Super Bowl expect the ratings to be the lowest so far this century. People are tired of the leagues team.

I will not watch the AFC title Game

I will not watch a New England Super Bowl

I might watch a Jacksonville Super Bowl.  I'm pretty unenthusiastic about the remaining Super Bowl possibilities

Rather poke myself in the eye with a stick than to watch any game the cheats are playing in except when playing the Bills.   Will be at a SB party but if they are in it I will be drunk and passed out before game begins so I don’t have to Listen to Michaels and Collingworth sucks the cheaters dry

I was on the Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline that year (Seattle's version of Stampede). We got to go to game. Yes, there were bad calls. But the Seahawks also choked. TE Jeremy Stevens who was money that year and a big part of the game plan dropped 4 passes. One on the 3 yard line.

That was a really good team that year on both sides of the ball and kicking teams but didn't show it in that game.  Disappointing to say the least.

This league has been fixed, choreographed whatever word you want to use for many years. Certain elite large market teams like the Patriots generate higher revenue and ratings than other teams. The Vikings at home against the darling Cheatriots will work nicely for the NFL.  I actually enjoy watching the blatant official favoritism for NE because they don't even try to disguise it anymore. Even the worthless late make up penalties against NE have ended. It's quite comical. Once Brady retires it all ends.

I'm not so sure about this. Bill Bellyache has gone 13-6 in games without Tommy.
