Bubba Gump Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 !@#$ this league. What a joke. Anything to get Tommy another ring. I'm done with this circus.

Getting the good angle, slow motion, and knowing what was coming it was obvious. It's best of the best out there for the refs and just making the call because the guy was open is a pretty horrible guideline.
Boatdrinks Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 This is why I don't want to watch Pats games. That's a freaking penalty ? Torbert and crew are a joke , esp Torbert with his Pats bias! They see a play being made and assume the team p,aging vs NE MUST have committed a foul to get open. What a crock! These penalties stop drives , and TEN was looking like they could pull an upset, but won't because of the flipped field position and they'll be behind soon.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I may not be able to watch this. Game-changing ticky-tack OPI penalty on Tenn by the refs

Figure out what to call later.
Livinginthepast Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I would much rather have the refs put away the whistles and the flags like the old NHL refs used to do in the playoff overtimes than have these constant ticky tak calls that are bogus. Like the Pats need any help to win.
Steptide Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Just my opinion, but I think the push off rule should be eliminated. Imo it very rarely effects the outcome of a pass
Boatdrinks Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 The inherent bias the Refs bring to these games make it virtually impossible to win
RiotAct Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 how are they able to make it look so easy, year after year after year? Titans’ D playing like they’re just honored to even be on the same field as the mighty Patriots
Boatdrinks Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 And just like that the Pats are up. F$&* Torbert
Schmuggs Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 The inherent bias the Refs bring to these games make it virtually impossible to watch. What a joke.
stevewin Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Entire game changed because of phantom BS penalty
Maine-iac Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Phantom PI and then the Hogan block would have been a penalty if it was us. 1

It wasn’t just that he was open- it was that bodies came together at the top of the route and one went down. I didn’t see the refs angles but obviously they are going to have certain cues and triggers that are likely to indicate a penalty. if you prefer to think the games rigged, I’m not even sure why you’d be watching.
Boatdrinks Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Just now, RiotAct said: how are they able to make it look so easy, year after year after year? Titans’ D playing like they’re just honored to even be on the same field as the mighty Patriots It didn't look easy at all until the officials got involved... even tried to give Ne a TD when runner was down.
