12. TYROD TAYLORBUFFALO BILLS – 84.1 OVERALL GRADE
Slide42-768x432.jpg

Excerpt from the PFF QB Annual: Taylor finished 2017 among the league’s most accurate passers under pressure. His 53.5 completion percentage was fifth among starters and his 79.4 passer rating was seventh, but the one area he struggled through in 2017, was taking sacks. Taylor converted pressure to sacks 23.3 percent of the time – the highest rate in the NFL.

This stat alone makes PFT worthless to me. If they can sit there with straight faces and say TT is better than a bottom tier QB, none of their stats mean anything.

Taylor cracked the code. We have a ton of guys at work that have great numbers when it comes to getting jobs done fast. Their numbers are amazing on paper but we you talk to other Ops Mech's you find out that everyone is fixing their leaks and everything they do looks half assed, their numbers mean ****.

I saw enough TT at 12 makes this garbage

Why didn't our analytic department tell us TT was good!  Good stuff, I thought we needed a quarterback.

PFF sucks.  They dont take into account the opinions of the amazingly intelligent Bills fans.

LOL somebody has to go from that department!  I hope other teams don't see those rankings before we lock him up long term

That's pretty ridiculous to be honest.

I am not a TT hater as some of you here, but there is no way he is 12th.

He should be at least top 10...

Joking...

On a serious note, He's probably around 22-24 in my opinion

Pff ia pretty goos at what they do, and scott barratte one of their writers is on point. Ive had so much success this past season in the daily fantasy industry because of the stuff he writes. Ive also used pff tools.

I'm not a Tyrod-hater but I do believe this proves PFF looks at - and weighs things - wrongly.

Their grades are pretty accurate but you have to understand how they get that final grade. Tyrod has few negative plays, which lifts his grade higher.

Efficient QB play will grade high no matter what grading system is used.

Stop it.  We dont need an efficient QB.  Never mind we made the playoffs finally after 17 years.  Clearly Tyrod is the worst qb to ever play the game.

If the Bills are interested in trading Tyrod, perhaps one of these money ball nerds will latch on to some of these stats and give up more then we expect. Hopefully someone like Mike Schopp gets hired to run a team in the NFL. That could probably solve 2 of our issues.
