Plans to redevelop a complex of warehouses across from where a new Walmart Supercenter is being built on Walden Avenue were approved Monday night by the Cheektowaga Town Board.

The project by Benderson Development Co. at 2525-2535 Walden calls for demolishing an existing 91,655-square-foot warehouse and converting an existing 21,041-square-foot warehouse into retail space. A new 78,486-square-foot warehouse and 13,090-square-foot office building will be constructed.

The warehouse complex in the 1970s and ’80s housed Uncle Sam’s, one of the area’s more popular nightclubs for music, concerts and dancing."

The 70s fashions, hairstyles, and make-up were not good looks. SMH. And the keep trying to bring that ugly back again.

Personally, I think the 80s were slightly worse.

Huh? Outside of skinnier pants and longer shorts...fashion today still pretty close to what it was in the 80s
