Bad Things Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 It was an encouraging sign that he was able to put together a staff with highly respected people on it. (or so I read)
GoBills808 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 On a serious note OP he is a disciple of Dave Gettleman who is held in pretty high regard around the league and did a heck of a job cleaning up the salary cap mess Hurney left. He was known to be pretty unsentimental about letting guys go which was apparently one of the reasons Richardson fired him...from what I understand after the Norman deal he wanted to let Thomas Davis go and Richardson (being sentimental about his guys) got wind of it and put his foot down. I expect Beane to be similar in that regard.
