R. Rich Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Maybe we should let Losman show us what he can do and start throwing the ball and spreading the field. Hey, it works for the Patriots. Thoughts?

CoachChuckDickerson Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I think this topic doesn't interest me. Any chance you could start another thread in the next 30 seconds on a similar topic?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Maybe we should let Losman show us what he can do and start throwing the ball and spreading the field. Hey, it works for the Patriots. Thoughts? Not exactly. In Brady's first year as a starter (2001), the Pats dumbed-down the playbook and featured the running game, relying on great defense and ST's to carry the team. The Bills would be wise to do the same, at least initially.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Is there a point to these inane questions?
CajunBillsBacker Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Personally i'd like to see the Bills put the offense on the shoulders of our running attack and try and keep the game out of Losman's hands. But I have a feeling that MM knows that our opponents are thinking this also, so I wouldn't be surprised to see MM come out with a play action fake on the first play of the season.

He seems to run a pretty tight gameplan, and if you do something over his head, like choose to defend the wrong endzone, well, bye.
