Doc Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Now, the real question is what do the Rams feel Sammy is worth, i.e. what contract will they offer him?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Well I think we all now know what kind of value the Rams assign Sammy Watkins.
HiddenInLight Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Honestly I think Sammy is playing this the right way. Not only does he say he'd like to stay with the Rams but he also said he'd be open to coming back to the Bills. The guy wants to get paid, and isn't burning any bridges to do it.

He already did that with the Bills.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 Despite Tagging Lamarcus Joyner, Rams Want Sammy Watkins Sammy Watkins provides the deep threat that opens up the passing attack. The question is whether the market prices him out of the Rams' plans.
BillsFan4 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 He'd be smart to sign in LA if they make him a competitive offer. McVay is a brilliant offense mind. If anyone can get Sammy producing the way he's capable of, it's McVay. And with a full offseason with Goff, I'm sure he'd start targeting Sammy more too.
GreggTX Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 If I were Sammy, I wouldn't want to stay in LA. They don't even throw him the ball. Go somewhere where they'll throw to you once in a while Sammy.

But if he proved anything, looks like he's a system guy over force feeding an individual talent. Goff basically said the same himself. They like to spread it around and have a RB taking balls away, too. LA might not be the best for him if he want a high volume of targets.
