Don't want to hear it. Up 21-3 and blew the game.

Another Reid and Smith Playoff Choke Job.

Wish we had 21....or even 13 and we win our first playoff game since 1995.

You can’t talk to him     He Gets all huffy when someone is better than his sweet Tyrod

He gets huffy anytime someone doesn’t agree with him.

Wish we had KC's offensive system, play calling,  and personnel.

Not sure Smith wins the game, but Smith is a much smarter and  much better passer than TT. He would have given us a better chance to win.  He is not a Top 10 QB, but he is much better than TT, and is a definite upgrade. I'd take Smith hands down over TT. I'd trade a 2nd for him in a heartbeat as a caretaker QB while our newly drafted 2018 rookie QB gets ready to start when he is truly prepared and ready.

Now you do but just a few posts above you were critical of them.

It's better than what we had in 2017 in Buffalo.  They still choked in the playoffs as usual.

It is much better than what we had at two positions...OC and QB.

Blake Bortles was awful yesterday....he couldn't even hit short passes with any consistency.  We still lost.  This was another Carolina game.

You forgot TE and WR.

At least he did throw 1 touchdown thats all we needed was just one !!!

He could be a better option than TT but at what price ??

I think there are some better options out there at a better price with higher upside ! One being A.J. McCarran

Alex Smith is garbage and if you want him to be your QB, then please don’t complain about Tyrod. They are both sub-par.

We all understand the real point of your thread.

Alex Smith is terrible.

Obviously someone has not followed football this season.....whether you like TT or not is irrelevent....Alex Smith is within the higher echelon of QB's for 2017.....go google...

Yes they are better but it's not as big a difference as it is with QB and OC.

Clay is decent, our WR  core is average.  They have an elite TE and decent WR.

The biggest difference is QB and OC.  We are very poor there.

The Bills WR corps is poor and their WR corps with Hill is above average.   Alex Smith is not the missing link.

I didn't say he was the missing link but he's better than Taylor.

Our WR core looks poor because the guy throwing to them is very poor.

Smith is meh and that's why he's about to be on his 3rd team.

"meh" who can throw downfield is an upgrade to "meh" who has trouble throwing over 20 yards.  If the team drafts the QB of the future, Smith could be a good bridge that doesn't kill the present.

That stat line is an anomaly for Alex Smith- go back historically and he’s got the same issues that Tyrod had this year, can’t throw the deep ball accurately, is a checkdown junkie and does hit receivers that are open downfield because he’s reluctant to pul the Trigger.  Watching Brees/ Newton last night was like night and day between Taylor/ Smith

I remember when Nick Foles had a monster year.  Then the clock struck twelve on him too.

Like an apple w/o a core the Bills WR corps is missing  good players.
