Joe B is spot on. And he provides yet another example of why we need to move on from both TT and Rico. How do you as a coordinator leave that decision in Taylor's hands? A guy that wasn't allowed to audible at the start of the season now has the trust to make a huge call like that?

Also, did not realize McD and Chud were close. Very interesting.

Yes. good points. That pass play on 1st and goal at the 1, AND the two pass plays at the end of the 1st half were really a case of outsmarting yourself. Damn. It cost the game. Boomer Esiason, while clearly indicating Taylor decided the pass at the goal line, clearly blamed the coaches for allowing TT to have the run/pass option in the first place. Also, was it just me that screamed at the Bills to get a play off quickly before the challenge flag could be thrown by Marrone.. to no avail? McD is a first year coach, and he has made a lot of these time managament errors all year. Which is not surprising for a rookie, but it is from a "process" cerebral coach.

That and many missed throws by Tyrod. He's so cautious he prefers to overthrow players instead of risking the INT. Am I hallucinating or in his first year for the Bills he had a great deep ball and wasn't afraid to throw it? And to add insult to injury Bortles clearly outplayed Tyrod in the run game.

Great points. I love the idea of bringing on Mike McCoy and Joe brought up Rob Chudzinski...I honestly try to get both. Overhaul this entire offense with a new offensive staff.

And a new QB.

New QB, New OC, load up on O-Line and D-line - LOADS of picks this year, plus Buffalo got repped real well coming into this game - that has to sway some players minds about coming here......

Taylor and Dennison being released would be the biggest upgrades for the offense without even adding a player.

You can always do worse!

Believe me, I want them gone too. But that is because the Bills found better people at their position. So far Tyrod has beat all other QBs on the roster in the last 3 years. Do I think it's about damn time they found a better QB? Hell yes. But I don't want him to be canned if there is no one to replace him yet!

As for Dennison, nope. I want him gone, period LOL

Very fair and balanced article by Buscaglia.

I would like to see the Bills move on from Dennison, but I'm afraid McDermott "loyalty" will trump analysis and Dennison will successfully finger-point to Taylor, deflecting attention from the fact Lynn and Roman were successful at getting more from him and our O (and that personnel decisions at WR played a role)

A weak and mediocre OC allows a weak and mediocre qb who never audible to make that 1st and goal decision. I have no doubt they'll BOTH be gone. Sean will search for a new young OC to work with a new young qb.

I agree with Joe - I am getting a bad feeling that Dennison stays

If that happens who could continue to trust the process?

I know I couldn't.

Decent piece, but let's not overinterpret the pass at the goal line. It was a safe play which should result in either an incompletion or a td. The wildcard was benjamin's OPI, which neither taylor nor dennison planned for. That play is on benjamin. It really is ok to try and pass it in at the goal line. The other 31 teams do it all of the time.

Nah on Chud but i'd welcome him here other then OC.

McCoy i'd be alright.

Jim Caldwell would be a great OC.

Ken Whisenhunt as well

Lots of OC this year I think then to settle on Dennison.

Lots of things problem but Tolbert getting the ball and in pass plays turns my stomach honestly.

On first and goal from the 2? The pass is more successful on fourth down IMO.

On first down is best time to run!

Say no to CHUD he really wasn’t that good in Carolina I would rather have Mack to develop a young QB.  All year we ran and passed out of tight formations versus spreading teams but thanif your QB will, only throw 5 yard in slants maybe that’s what ya need to,do.

Should have handed off to Kyle.

Or had him in the game and fake it to him play action and pass to a TE or CB running simple post
