Another Fan Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 McCoy still didn't have a bad game but you can't tell me he was at 100%. He's a gamer and is gonna play. Would a more explosive McCoy have led to less reliance on Tyrod and possibly a W?
K-9 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I doubt it. TT wasn’t up to the task today, regardless.
Roundybout Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Don't think so. Need to give the Jags credit, their defense, while slightly overrated, is terrifyingly good.
Sweats Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Shady as always, was the bright spot on an otherwise bleak and dreary O.

Big Turk Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 No, he played pretty well...we needed more from the QB position.
Fadingpain Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Probably not. Shady being dinged up wasn't why we lost today. He had like 27 touches for @ 125 all purpose yards. It's not like he didn't make a solid contribution!
Boatdrinks Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 No. McCoy looked surprisingly unbothered by the ankle today. He was the best player on an otherwise moribund offense. 3 offensive touchdowns in 7 games ( including today) vs playoff teams for the Bills offense. Too many problems for Shady alone to make up for.

And 1 of those compliments of Nate Peterman against the Saints.
KingRex Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Nope, Not with the typical poor play calling by Dennison. Calling for pass plays with mgoal to go on the 1ish late in the 1st killed us regardless of Tyrod, Shady or whatever.

Today should have removed any doubt about TT being a franchise QB. 1
Ray Finkel Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 There could have been 3 pro bowl receivers out there and a healthy Shady but same result. Same game as Panthers in week 2.
baskingridgebillsfan Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Shady was fine . The qb was the issue

Billsatlastin2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 You simply can't rely on Shady, dude with 1 leg, an overpaid TE, a terrible draft reach and average white guys from the Sunday Beer League, being thrown at by a Smurf!
ALLEN1QB Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 No we don't Shady stinks he is very overrated worst thing to ever happen to this team need to get rid of him now guy dances around like an idiot and gets two yards

At the beginning of the year, I claimed that TT was NOT the answer. I got pummeled for daring to suggest such a thing! You watch, this offseason, there will still be people wanting him back. "Just get him the right players around him!" they'll shout. smh...

BigDingus Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 No... They did what good teams do against us, sell out to stop the run & make the QB play QB. That doesn't change with McCoy being any healthier. He still made his cuts and made some big plays, but we failed to capitalize on them (and one was called back by penalty) anyway.
