bills6969 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 tackling a guy by the neck and slamming his head into the ground is just fine. NFL officiating is a joke. 6
CommonCents Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Tough to blame this one on the officials. 3
nkreed Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Come on, three roughing the passer penalties were missed. That's a ton of garbage there. 1
bigduke6 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 NFL viewership is down, many reason behind it, garbage QB play across 3/4 of the league, garbage officiating nearly every game, not hard to figure out why. 1
peterpan Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Idk, their TD and the INT at the end of the game.... Those exact kind of catches were called incomplete passes for the Bills this year. 2
Bangarang Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Blame our putrid passing attack and our putrid OC

Reducing concussions just be the highest priority for NFL right now but seems like they still occur on a frequent basis. Seems like this would be an easy tackle to eliminate.

If that was Jerry Hughes making that tackle on Bortles who was beyond the LOS I wouldn't have wanted to see a flag.

That should have been a penalty for slamming him head first into the ground. No question it could have been easily called.

They just showed a highlight on CBS where Calais Campbell hit Tyrod very late. Still, I don't blame officiating, though they did miss some hard , effective hits
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 The constant whining about refs gets tiresome.

Luka Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 The NFL needs to move on to the college ways. These types of plays need to be reviewed and if intent is obvious the offending player is ejected from the game. That tackle was hard to watch. 2

Xwnyer Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 if its the Patriots that is a penalty, the Peterman grounding would have not been called, the INT at end would have been overturned 4

I have no issue at all - TT trying to run and the Jag making a tackle - this is a non issue in my eyes - it happens in football. You out want to stop that - put a collar on the players to stop the head snap.
Jasovon Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 As with others, the problem is not these calls rather the fact that other teams such as the Patriots would have had a penalty on the tackle, no grounding called an incomplete on the pick.
