After moving their DT's all drive, with 1st and goal from the 1, we called a fade against perhaps the best CB out there and it blew up spectacularly.

Then we gave Jacksonville a short field with 2 of their timeouts left.

Instead of being up 7-0  at half, it is 3-3 directly because of Rick.

Combined with the countless other massive errors and hair-pulling 2nd and 25 screens to tolbert for -3 yards, will he be fired in the offseason?

It wasn't a called pass. It was an RPO. That was on Tyrod. He switched to the fade.

I stand corrected.

I'd still like to move on from him. Though I'll give him props so far today outside of the last drive, which was still inexcusable (though also maybe TT's fault?)

He has been calling a great game - doing everything people wanted.

The play appeared to be an RPO - so that is on Taylor.

In addition - everyone has been complaining- pass on first downs and get KB involved.  When they try that people complain - run the ball 3 times if needed.

Just crazy.

But as coach you have to know your QB isn't smart or good enough to have that option.  Should have pounded up the middle 4 times.

Board tradition to not start new threads during games.

Apologies. I thought that ended though, with the forum upgrade?
