JohnBonhamRocks Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Does anyone else think that, IF OBD IDs a guy (not Rosen/Darnold, assuming they go 1/2) as franchise material, then they should try to trade 21, 22, Glenn, and maybe one more later pick to get to 3 overall? I don't care who it is, although my bet would be Rudolph or Mayfield, but if they truly think a guy could be the guy, then why not pull the trigger? The Colts aren't drafting a QB and need OL help. Plus, OBD likely still has two 2nds and a 3rd to work with, depending on what else might need to be thrown in.
Thurman#1 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 IF they really do think somebody is franchise material, yeah, go get him. They ought to be absolutely convinced he's the right guy, though. I'd then like to see them trade one of their 2nds for a 1st next year (or a third this year and a 2nd next) and get a nice little conveyor belt of high picks coming in.
mob16151 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 If I'm Buffalo I try to get to second overall. I offer the 2 first rounders this year, next years first rounder, and Clay, and Glenn.
Doc Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 The Browns aren't trading out of #1. The Giants might, if they think that their rookie is all that and they get a decent offer. But I expect Darnold to go 1st overall and Rosen to go 2nd.
