Virgil Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) Now that Sammy’s season is over and Free Agency awaits him, I’m curious as to what his value will be. As a Bills fan, we saw glimpses of brilliance. Many of us argued that his lack of production was because he was a decoy, we didn’t have a QB that could get him the ball, or he had nagging injuries. This seaon, all of those excuses were gone and he still disappears from games. I can’t understand how his obvious potential doesn’t sustain in games, but the result is what it is. To me, the 2nd round pick and Gaines was a robbery by us. With all of that, what kind of deal do you think he pulls in and where does he go? I think he either settles for a 1 year deal or gets 3 years at 8-10 mil from someone like the Bears. Thoughts? Edited January 7, 2018 by Virgil 1
mob16151 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) He gets that Alshon Jeffrey deal. Or a deal like Pryor got with the Skins. Edited January 7, 2018 by mob16151
Magox Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I always believed that we ended up getting the better end of that trade and that time would eventually prove that to be the case. I think the Rams will offer him around $7m guaranteed with incentives that could push it to $10m
26CornerBlitz Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) I can see him signing with SF or DAL if he gets to Free Agency. Edited January 7, 2018 by 26CornerBlitz 2
K-9 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 His value is whatever a team is willing to sign him for. Hard to predict.
CommonCents Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Saying it since the beginning of the year, Allen Hurns money.
billsfanmd07 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 tough drop to end the game. He should have caught it.

Rob's House Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 After the Davante Adams deal I can't even guess anymore.
/dev/null Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 At this point he'd be lucky for a 2 year $12M with option for a 3rd year. He's a borderline #2/#3 WR
GoBills808 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Maybe Taylor Gabriel or Pryor money. Not Jarvis Landry money.

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Woods was the loss that hurt more. Sammy will get overpaid by someone. Hope it is not the Pats. SF would seem to be a logical choice. They have the QB, cap space to overpay and a good coach/oc. 1
Rob's House Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 He'll probably get paid far above his production level based on raw talent. All the more reason it was a good idea to get value for him while we still could. 2

Total me first player like Gilmore. Thanks Marvin, Andy and Boyd.
