Rigotz Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the choke job Chiefs! I believe that number is locked in whether the Bills win or lose. We might flip positions with them if we lose, but will still secure pick 21. So, we officially traded our 11th overall pick for Tre White and the 20th overall pick. Edited January 7, 2018 by Rigotz 1

Beane wasn't in Buffalo for the draft. 1
Jasovon Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 That's actually pretty awesome! great outcome for us.
Maynard Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Thanks, was just thinking about where the pick would be. True, the situation in hindsight it’s beautiful. Unless of course we missed on something special with Mahomes or Watson. 2 1

Buddy Hix Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Just logging in to check the draft spot implications of that choke job, thanks. 1

"The eventual draft order will adjust as the playoffs play out. The losers of the four wildcard games will be sorted according to the regular NFL Draft sorting (strength of schedule, strength of victory, et cetera), followed by the losers of the conference semifinal and final games and the eventual outcome of the Super Bowl. The 9-7 Bills have one of the weakest resumes in the playoffs, and a loss on Sunday could give them the 21st overall pick, while a win would mean they’d pick no higher than 25th overall. Buffalo’s other first round pick is part of the playoff race, with the Kansas City Chiefs finishing as the fourth overall seed in the AFC with a 10-6 record. The Chiefs currently hold the 24th overall pick, but if Wild Card weekend is upset-heavy, there’s still a chance that their pick could rise as high as 21st overall. For the best combination of draft slot and season success, root for the Bills and Tennessee Titans this weekend." https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2018/1/2/16842366/after-sunday-buffalo-bills-will-pick-no-higher-than-21st-in-the-nfl-draft-kansas-city-chiefs-25th 1 1
mannc Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) Bills had 10th overall last year, not 11th. Edited January 7, 2018 by mannc
dma0034 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Not true. The Bills could have the 21-24th from the Chiefs rn. Bills will either be 21st or have a later pick

Tatonka68 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 It doesn't matter trading up to the 4th pick anyhow. LOL
Estro Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 This is incorrect Falcons have a SOS of .521 Panthers have a SOS of .504 both are worse SOS's than the Chiefs who have...... a .576 SOS Therefore we are rooting for the Falcons and the Panthers in their wildcard games. If they lose they will be picking before the Chiefs. 3

Estro Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 If the lower SOS picks first, which I'm prett sure is true, than Thad Brown is also incorrect. There are other teams remaining in Wildcard weekend (Falcons & Panthers & Bills) with worse SOS's than KC's.
