Since 1999 there have been 35 games where a QB has thrown 5 or more interceptions.

The Bills defense is responsible for 4 of those games, which actually leads all NFL teams.

Joe Flacco - 5 INTs in 2013, Bills win 23-20

Mark Sanchez - 5 INTs in 2009, Bills win 16-13

Tony Romo - 5 INTs in 2007, Bills lose 25-24

AJ Feeley - 5 INTs in 2004, Bills win 42-32

Carolina, Cincinnati, and Seattle are all tied at 3 games.

Bonus:

Since 1999, teams that intercept 5 or more passes in a game are a combined 33-2.

The Bills are one of only two teams to lose a game in which they had 5 INTs. Arizona is the other -- they picked off Matt Ryan 5 times back in 2012 and lost to Atlanta 23-19.

At least 2 of the INTs were on Bills receivers making two boneheaded plays.

The FB who had the ball bounce of his head and into the arms of a Charger should have an INT on his stat sheet. Pretty sure Zay dropped one as well that resulted in a pick.

Yes - Peterman had a horrible game, but if you take his INTs in context I do not think the game was all time bad like many believe.

I've always seen you as a pretty rational poster and appreciate the content you post both on this board and SF.

Do you really think because of one bad game as a rookie Peterman will have a terrible career? Personally, I see that as quite an irrational take.

I've already explained that it's not a one game assessment.

That can't be a complete list including this year, since Big Ben threw 5 vs Jacksonville this year, and Not-ready-Nate threw 5 in the first half vs LA Chargers this year.  Edit: Oh, I see -  35 games somehow I read it as 5

Figured that was the case. I've never read your explanation though.

It's a fair point and we will see in the future. I'm certainly willing to give him more than one season as the backup.

Let's see. He has no poise under pressure, sloppy mechanics, spotty accuracy, marginal arm strength, and makes poor decisions.

Yep....Big Ben threw 4 in the first half, 2 of them were pick 6's.  The pick 6's came within 3 minutes apart.
