YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Who do you think deserves the award this year?
Jasovon Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Gurley deserves it, Brady* will win it. I think A Brown probably would have won it had the Patriots* not taken him out.
YoloinOhio Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 I went with Wentz, since his team looks completely different without him (imo). 1

Agreed on Gurley deserves it and Brady will win it. The tough part for Antonio Brown and Bell is they take away from each other's vote. And, by having them both dominate, it doesn't show who can dominate without the other. IMO both can dominate without each other.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Voted Gurley, but it will be Brady who wins it.

frostbitmic Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 My vote goes to Gurley. They went from a crap team to winning their division and Gurley was the biggest reason why.

I think it depends on whether the award is viewed as “most valuable to its team’s success” or “best player in the league.” In the nba it is the latter, but in the NFL I often see it as the former. corta765 Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 No way people aren't voting for Brady because he's a Patriot lol
Kirby Jackson Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 I voted Gurley but think that Brown is the best player in football. I’m guessing it is Brady or Gurley

Jmo. IMO MVP should (almost) always be most valuable to their team in all sports. But, it doesn't always go that way.
GunnerBill Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 I'd vote for Antonio. Teams double him, triple him, press him, he makes plays. Uncoverable.

It was a legal hit but a hard one and it was the hit that took him out for the rest of the season.
