My two candidates if Tyrod didn't take a reduced deal were Keenum (looks smart now) and Hoyer (looks less smart now). Still 1 out of 2 ain't bad My point at the time was the narrative that you couldn't get the level of QB play we were getting without paying $18-20m a year for it was flawed and that there were guys out there who for a third of that money or less could game manage a team to 8 or 9 wins a year. I wanted to sign one of them, draft Deshaun Watson and spend the money you saved on upgrading the line and the weapons.
