Gugny Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I think we're just fine with Tolbert and Murphy. They're both hungry and want to play. Used properly, they can be every bit as good as McCoy, who clearly isn't feeling it after his ... "injury" ....
bobobonators Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 How the heck we gonna sign and start a FA RB 6 days before a playoff game. He wont know the offense. Wont be able to pass protect. He’ll be a liability more than anything else. I actually liked Murphy. Hes got a second gear. 2
Sharp1128 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Wonder if A. Foster is available and in shape....I know he retired but he was great in Dennison's offense. He may be good for 1 game!!!!

Dadonkadonk Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 When are playoff rosters set? Are they even allowed to sign anyone at this point?

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Murphy looked pretty good yesterday. At this point, I might say if Shady can’t go...might as well let Murphy start. Looked like he had fresh legs, good vision, caught the ball a little bit.
The Jokeman Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Joe Banyard seems like the most realistic option but DeAngelo Williams be nice, he does have Carolina ties which might help.

Call_Of_Ktulu Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I would take Fred Jackson right now over Tolbert.

Thats not a thing. fred makes no sense. Honestly Carolina backs don’t. I’d look at our rotation from this year or guys in Dennisons past
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 How about James Starks? Playoff type physical running style. Went to Buffalo. Not as many miles as some other guys.
Seanbillsfan2206 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Tolbert will start, but Murphy will get more carries. They’re not going to sign anyone noteworthy.
BuffaloRebound Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Since we're new at this playoff thing, what are the rules in signing free agents at this point? Can you still poach guys off other teams' practice squads?
bigK14094 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Banyard the only make sense choice as he knows the playbook.
maryland-bills-fan Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Forget that any newly picked up RB will have only 6 days to get ready. If we have e RB's this coming weekend, if we win, and if one or two get hurt, we need to have somebody else lined up. Maybe a real good guy who is green in our system would be the pick, because he would have ~ two weeks to get ready. Does that expand the cast of possibilities?
