What are your plans for tonight?

My wife took an extra shift to let one of the younger workers go out tonight.

I am staying home,  hopefully celebrating the Bills making the playoffs.

Being wimps and staying home. We were going to my cousin's in Burleson Texas but we aren't since we are under a Winter Advisory Warning.  I said we were wimps.☺️  Later tonight we'll eat a shrimp cocktail, spinach salad, baked salmon and streamed asparagus.  We'll bring in the new year with either and or champagne along with Bellini's.

I am usually asleep by 11:00pm on New Year's Eve.

For some reason, it has never done anything for me, and I don't see it as a natural cause for celebration.

Excuse to drink?  Who needs that!?  If I want to drink, I'll have a drink.

New Year's is kind of for pretenders, amateurs, and lightweights.

Good night to stay home.

My wife has some kind of 24hr. (I hope) bug, so we''ll be home.

Yeah, I've had that since Christmas Eve.  Good luck with that.

Woke up with a black eye,  my forehead split open, and an ear caked in dried blood. Thanks for asking.

Has anyone seen my glasses and Bills hat?

Seriously, who drove me home?

We have gone to see fireworks but it is too cold here this year (in low teens) to consider it since you end up sitting a lot.

I'd like to be "down under" some year when New Years Eve is in summer. Have celebrated it in Hawaii a few times (nice) and in Hong Kong at least twice. The Chinese invented fireworks and the Hong Kong displays are fantastic.
