26CornerBlitz Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) So much for Gruden back to Tampa Bay. Edited January 1, 2018 by 26CornerBlitz
The Now Moment Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 If Gruden came back this board would be full of people whining that we couldn't get him. Less whining is good by me haha

GunnerBill Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Surprised by Koetter staying. Less surprised Jay Gruden remains in Washington.
machine gun kelly Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Everyone on the Gruden train must not pay attention from 2003-2010. Yes, he was a good OC in Philly, and a ok HC in Oakland, and won the SB IN 2002 in Tampa. From 03-08 He only had one season over 10 wins. 03- 7-9 04- 5-11 05- 11-5 06- 4-12 07- 9-7 08- 9-7. Does that look like HOF numbers to anyone. He drove people nuts in Tampa bringing in old has been players like Charlie Garner, which is why he was fired. If he were to take a job, he lives here in Tampa, kids who are not in college go to CDS, a private school where he helps with their football program, has his QB clinics, and an entrenched in the community. Last time I read he was making between 4-5 million a year for little work on MNF on ESPN. He's coming back to coaching about as much as Cowher. He also had two mediocre years out of three in Oakland until his last when he went to AFC Championship. So for all the Grudeites, please put into perspective he's not as good as people want to think. Cutter should get another year to see what he can do with a good draft. He was a good OC for us in Tampa, and Winston has been erratic. Whoops, Khoetter as I hate auto correct sometimes. 1

jr1 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Gruden's been out of the league for a decade. He feigns "talking to assistants" every few years to stay relevant to sports writers and broadcasters
Chicken Boo Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) There goes my hopes for the new offensive coordinator. Edited December 30, 2017 by Chicken Boo
Saxum Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Looks like Bucs will do anything to keep Grunden in broadcast booth.
MAJBobby Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Darn. One less OC option. Comeon MIA do a MIA thing and fire Gase 1
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Problem with Bucs this year start off so slow in a hole. Then do everything to come back usly short lots. But they are lethal team if they can be consistent. Thanks, Marvin, Dalton, and Boyd.
