The ones that everyone can see in real time that only require a quick look on replay to confirm. This minutiae that they get bogged down with is insane.

This minutiae that they get bogged down with is insane. why not have the process of starting the catch with both feet inbounds be permitted to be completed out of bounds. Especially considerig a defender can still be trying to knock the ball loose .
DrDawkinstein Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Im not sure what to do with improving the Catch rule, but when it comes to replay I like Belichick's idea: Each team gets two, and only two, challenges and you can challenge anything you want. No other replays or reviews or auto-reviews. Challenge penalties, challenge to draw a penalty, whatever. But only twice. 1
