I recently started watching "OZARK" a little late.

I'm through 6 episodes or so, Season 1.

I'm enjoying the show and it's very well done, but the world of rural Missouri trailer trash is not really a world I want to spend a lot of time in, and my interest in the show suffers as a result.

I'll keep watching though.

Hell on Wheels is pretty solid

I know it’s older but I’m 7-9 ish episodes in on it.

A lot of character twists.

And a lot of people get shot and never get gangrene and die.
It kept me entertained and it was an interesting point in American history (although not a factual story).

You should persist.  Season one is good...season 2 is AMAZING!

The wife and I started watching a show on Netflix called Friends from College.  The cast caught my eye (Keegan Michael Key, Fred Savage, Cobie Smulders), so I gave it a shot.  The first season was really good, but it has fallen off in the second season.  I kept asking myself the whole time I was watching how they would take this story beyond one season.  I guess I was right.

I watched Season 2 during the storm over the weekend. I am not down on Season 2 as much as you but it was definitely not as good as 1 but I really like this show overall. I think mainly because I am only a few years older than the characters on the show and it does remind me of some in my group of friends.

Watched the Fyre Festival doc on Netflix last night..it was pretty good. I understand there is also one out on Hulu that the promoter was paid to be on, but one is enough.

It's not that I'm down on the second season so far.  I think you pretty much nailed it by saying it's not as good as the first.  It's funny that you mention their ages though.  I know what they're supposed to be, but I do lose track of that at times.  I'm assuming that's because Cobie Smulders is so much younger than the rest of them.

I wish I saw your post earlier cause I would have watched it.  I turned it on last night just as I was going to bed....I normally sleep to something on TV.

Then it hooked me and stayed up to finish it.

Good point. I actually never knew their real life ages so maybe that’s why I was sold more than you? Very interesting point of view and I can see what you mean.

Here's one other note from that show that is probably interesting to only me.  In the episode where they went back to Cambridge, they mentioned a couple places that aren't open anymore.  One of them was the bar where I met my wife.

The show has Cobie Smulders in it, you could sit down with your children and use the show to tell them 'How I met your mother'...............

I know this is gunna sound weird, but I am actually enjoying this Sex Education show. But again, I likedGlee and Jane the Virgin and other shows directed at teens, so consider the source here.

This show however i would not want my 16-year-old daughter watching for sure!!!

I wouldn't say that too loud, I'm sure your internet browser is now tapped and Chris Hansons replacement may be preparing to visit your house...........

I just finished Season 1 of Counterpart on Starz. It's extremely good. J. K. Simmons is an extremely good actor. The first episode was slow but methodical. After you get the premise of the show, it flys by and keeps you entertained. Season 2 started in December and I'm on my way to catching up.

Starz has stepped up it's game with their in house productions. The wife enjoys Outlander and enjoys Counterpart too.
