stuckincincy Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I hope Rolle's injury has been resolved. He was a good player and AFAIK wasn't a jerk.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I hope Rolle's injury has been resolved. He was a good player and AFAIK wasn't a jerk. Except when he hit his wife, on Valentine's Day no less. What a guy!
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 from what I heard from someone I talk to who lives in KC. Apparantly the chiefs were lowballing samari rolle, and leaked the story about his injury to get other teams to back off so his price would drop. Holy Backfire, obviousily the ravens saw different. The chiefs have a habit of being cheap. Their gm carl peterson doesn't care about bringing in skilled players to improve their team as long as he can get enough people to keep them in the 7-9 and 9-7 range that is a... ok by him. Their owner Lamart Hunt has no problem with this as well. From what my friend tells me even priest holmes and tony gonzalez had to threaten to hold out to get their contracts.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 So much for AFAIK... Don't sweat it. It's hard to keep up with the felonious foibles of NFL players.
