Will Taylor ever learn to throw the ball away and avoid the sack?

Bills lose= Blame the QB.

It goes way beyond that which most Bills fans turn a blind eye to.

What is the ONE position that the Bills have severely lacked talent at during the drought?

5 seconds, Scott.

Is this the same Tony Romo who never even played in a championship game in his LONG career.........despite having what was considered the most talented roster in the league surrounding him on multiple occasions?

I’ll stop there because this was all I needed to read to know the rest was ?.

Taylor will never be the great QB you think he is.

I’d take Romo with a broken collarbone and back over Tentative Taylor  anytime.

As Kirby says.........least educated fanbase in the NFL.

Cot meltdown !!      Keep it up,  maybe Tyrod will catch Brissett and Mccown soon ????

Romo is elite btw, Cowboys needed him this season.

He often had very talented teams and was known for losing important games.

Despite clear talent and big numbers whether he was a good enough QB to lead the Cowboys to a title was oft-questioned to say the least.

His Cowboys routinely underachieved......but once he did get homefield advantage with Wade as his HC.........and IMMEDIATELY lost.

Also had great talent around him last year when he took that outrageously stupid preseason hit that knocked him into retirement.

You want an assertion.......how about that Tony Romo has probably been THE MOST SCRUTINIZED decision-making QB in NFL history.

His career was LITTERED with instances of bone-head decisions where he trusted his arm or body far too much.

Tyrod and Romo are on two opposite sides of the decision making spectrum.

Neither will probably ever win a SB...........but we already know one of them will never even reach a championship game LET ALONE a SB.

Amirite or amirite?

Romo and Rex are both excellent analysts though...........just more entertaining than right.

As the old timers say who the he'll do you think you are?  I wish we had a jackass emoji

Is he qualified or not to provide his insight and analysis?

Yep and fwiw Jay Cutler will be qualified when he returns to broadcasting as well.

When your analyst never saw a throw he didn't think he could make..........and subsequently never saw a championship game he could win........you gotta' take it in context.

It is very frustrating seeing Taylor hold onto the ball way too long, not throw the ball away and take the sack. This happened multiple times during the game. On one play and first and ten, Taylor could have thrown the ball away, but instead holds onto it way too long, gets sacked for a fifteen yard loss and it becomes 2nd and 25. This happened again on a third down late in the game by which Taylor fumbled.

Will our O-line ever learn how to block?

To be more accurate, will this team ever learn to react to blitzes?

Part of Taylor's game is to extend plays when under pressure to try and make something happen.  Sometimes it works it the Bills' favor and other times it turns into negative plays like today.  He is who and what he is.

A very realistic scenario is the replacement of Taylor with a pocket passer followed by the realization that the entire OL needs to be reshuffled and 3 or more OL replaced.

I mean.........Dion Dawkins looks OK as a rookie but what happens when 4 games into his second year he's let his new QB get sacked 6-8 times?

There is simply NO QUESTION that Taylor protects this OL's reputation as pass blockers.

Taylor gets sacked 40 times but they aren't credited the way they will be if the contact is like it was for Peterman in the Chargers game.......all in pocket, often untouched/whiffs.....

Is it easier to "manufacture" good QB play than to re-tool an entire OL and then HOPE your QB has "it"?

The Eagles and Rams felt it was best to surround their questionable young QB's with elite talent at skill positions and they are looking smart for it.

Anyone who doesn't think Wentz and/or Goff could turn into pumpkins next year or the following with a little "playmaker deprivation" hasn't followed the trajectory of guys like Luck, Mariotta or Winston......or even Nick Foles who threw 27 TD's and 2 pics in 2013 but turned into a bum for several years before getting put into the same system that made Wentz look so good.    That turd is lookin' shiny now!

Very possible that Aaron Rodgers has been the last true "franchise QB" that has been drafted and he's been around A LONG TIME now..........a guy who can stand alone and succeed in ANY system with modest talent around him.

To be fair it never really works against the pats.

BB has Tyrods number.

Serious question and not trying to start an argument @ScottLaw. Do you think a team can be built around TT? I dont.

How do you block someone that runs away? At least 6 times in that game TT ran when they had a pocket for him. Instead a couple of times in the game he scrambled for a 15 yard loss. You can keep your TT underwear but its time to move on from him as a team.

how many times did Romo point out that Taylor missed his opportunity to throw the ball.  So frustrating to have plays set and up and all he has to do is make an easy throw and he holds the ball or misfires

23 times?

Considering the Bills offense was tops in the league the past two years prior to this year. Yes.

The new regime changed an offensive scheme that worked extremely well and shed the offense of its playmakers while forcing the QB into an offensive system he clearly wouldn't thrive in.

The plan made 0 sense.

While I disagree with your assessment I applaud your honesty. Thanks

They did a good job of it yesterday.

Yes, stupendous job. So why did Taylor have to learn to throw away passes?

You should rewatch the game. Taylor is running because it's a jailbreak of Patriots coming at him.

Same goes for the run blocking. How many times was McCoy hit in the backfield?
