For Safety Reasons, remove the penalty for injury

If the NFL is serious about the protection of the overpaid athletes (they're not) they'd remove the time out for injury.
 

My solution is simple.  If the clock must stop for a player injured within the 2 minutes of the half the player cannot return for that half.

Blame Belicheck and Pacells, they abused the player timeout for injury. That's why they had to institute that rule.

Yep, in the case of a legit injury it is a bad rule.
