This made me laugh...

Horomanski said the $284 billion bill caused her to ask her son for a different Christmas present this year.

“I told him I want a heart monitor,” she said.

“I can’t recall ever seeing a bill for billions of dollars,” Durbin said. “We appreciate the customer’s willingness to reach out to us about the mistake.”

Duh!!! What else is she to do, start paying it?

LoL...

"The good news, if you can call it that, was that Horomanski didn’t have to pay the entire $284,460,000 until November 2018. Her minimum payment for December was a relatively paltry $28,156"

28k on 284 million... That's not a "bad" installment plan...

"Her online statement was quickly fixed to the correct amount: $284.46."

Anyway... What the heck is she doing?  $284 a month?  She got a weed operation going? Somebody needs to look into the son here...;)

She wondered if she put up the Christmas lights wrong.  LOL

Notice they said the the bill was larger than the national debt of S Africa and Hungary combined.  They never mentioned why S Africa and Hungary combined their national debt in the first place.  They also never compared it to how much the Pats pay the refs.

Of note: a stack of 284 billion dollars, in one dollar notes, would be 19,283 miles high.

On its side, the stack would wrap around the earth near the NYS/PA border.

That's a lot of 1 dollar bills!
