And put it in the politics section. Then again, the Stones always were the band of choice for certain groups. That's right. Penguins LOVE the Stones and Petty.
row_33 Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 another reminder of the strange story of ownership and rights held by Jagger/Richards over their music

Mostly because the verse includes moments of silence. 1

Talk about out of touch. I love the Stones. I have no doubt that Trump tried to strong arm them. I have no doubt that Keith Richards was drunk and stoned enough to grab his knife and try to confront Trump's people. I also have no doubt that the Stones.Org have strong-armed MANY people throughout their career.

njbuff Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Tucker Carlson just beat down a New Mexican politician on his campaign. F--- the NRA and an AR15 can fire 150 rounds in 15 seconds was his campaign ad. And people wonder why no one takes Democrats seriously.

People need to stop think about this in binary terms. They are doing this intentionally to divide us as a people. That's the most accurate assessment because cable news is really only useful when there's a major event (that's why they love when we're at war). Other than that, they have to amplify news stories in order to get ratings. Fox and MSNBC get ratings by focusing on the most radical elements of the opposing party which do more to divide us. Fox's "War on Christmas" over the years is just an example. CNN is falling behind even though they started the whole "left" vs. "right" show format. This tribalism is hurting our political discourse and online news outlets of preference that provide confirmation bias is just furthering that divide. 1
