Lenigmusx Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Pittsburgh just released Harrison I know he is old but he might give us some addition pass rush presence if we can find a way to get in the playoffs. Even as situational rusher it would be great to add his experience to lb corp. thoughts? 1

Not a good fit here.
Matt_In_NH Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Isnt that what Pitt would have used him for? In the case of a super old has been there is a reason they waived him.
Lenigmusx Posted December 23, 2017 Author Posted December 23, 2017 You guys are right just feel like the pass rush piece could put the D in an even better place.
Strethor Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Yes.. big playoff performer -- Bills legend James Harrison has a good ring to it
CLTbills Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I'd like it... However, if he still had it, they wouldn't have released him.
Kirby Jackson Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) How does signing Harrison impact the comp pick formula? Edited December 23, 2017 by Kirby Jackson

Dumb move by the Steelers. by the way, I see Harrison all the time. We have the same favorite Mexican restaurant. Actually a very nice, approachable guy. The Patriots could use him or a few other teams. He is situationally sound

You must go see him and tell him no matter what do not sign with the Pats* 1
YoloinOhio Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I think he was released for #s reasons because they need to bring up a WR temporarily, and they think he won’t be claimed , then they can sign him again on Monday. I could see Pats claiming him just to screw with Steelers
JoPar_v2 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Hey it’s a player you’ve heard of! Better sign him immediately. 1

JMO, but you shouldn't post such depressing thoughts this close to Xmas But yeah, that makes a ton of sense. Nice call, I hope you're wrong in so many ways.

I don't think he will sign with the Steelers again. Seems he will look for a playoff team that needs some help. The Ravens are my first thought.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 He would fit the apparent mold here of having LBs that don’t fit the scheme. We are loaded with them now, might as well grab another.
