Motorin' Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Zen and the Art of Bills Fandom, a Christmas Poem by Jack Handey Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The Pats were up 20, late in the game. The Jets sucked ass, and the Titans were lame (we need them to beat Rams and lose to the Jags, damn it). The jerseys were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that the playoffs soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, with visions of failure filling their heads. When up on the board there arose such a clutter, I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter. Post after post I clicked like a flash, the self-hatred and rage burned our team to ash. This is where the Art of Zen plays its role, because Buffalo Bills fans lack emotional control. When the Ravens win out, and Gronk kicks our ass, take a deep breathe cause were in for a gas. On the last day of the NFL season, some old friends will give hope a reason. And even if Beast Mode and St Doug do fail, there's no reason to turn on your pals. Chill the !@#$ out and enjoy the ride, step away from the ledge... wear your Bills' gear with pride. No matter what happens this Christmas Eve, we're still in the hunt, and that's more than any of us thought this team would achieve. 1 1
