26CornerBlitz Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 Already being discussed here and it's not going to happen.
Roundybout Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Teams are CALLING for him to be released (apparently GB screwed with the IR system, for those unaware). He is not going to be released anywhere.
WotAGuy Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I can see this happening if a dyslexic person read “Aaron Rogers is being put on injured reserve”
Billsfansinceday1 Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Placing on IR is way different than releasing.
Lenigmusx Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 (edited) That makes more sense but that is not the way it was reported. TY for the explanation?Wishful thinking Edited December 24, 2017 by Lenigmusx
Billsfansinceday1 Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Just now, Lenigmusx said: That makes more sense but that is not the way it was reported. TY for the explanation?Wishful thinking Looks like the title needs to be changed then.
Mr. WEO Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 What was the point of putting him back on IR anyway?
Kirby Jackson Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I like how someone interpreted “it’s not going to happen” into a thread titled “Aaron Rodgers to be released.”
Lenigmusx Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 That is not what was reported. I read on ESPN Rodgers to be released Can a mod please edit my title.. it won't let me do it from my phone?

That's a lot different than what you inferred. Edited December 24, 2017 by 26CornerBlitz
Albwan Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I wont believe it until yahoo or cnn confirms it /sarcasm off 1

/dev/null Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Per the rules ARodg should been released With the current Commissioner all franchises are equal. But some are more equal than others The league office will find a loophole
Lenigmusx Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Again if a mod could change my thread title gladly appreciated. My phone won't let me edit the title.

Seems like a clear violation by Pack of a rule, the consequence of which is that the player gets released. So why is it “not gonna happen”? 1
Lenigmusx Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 There sorry that took so long.. I did not intend to mislead anyone the way ESPN headlines did.

Lenigmusx Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 (edited) Original headline "Aaron Rodgers to be Released?" Yes if you read it that is not what it says. That headline is click bait and when that pops up on your phone you get excited. Lol Edited December 24, 2017 by Lenigmusx
26CornerBlitz Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 NFL owners call for Packers to release Rodgers (1:24) Adam Schefter explains why teams are complaining that the Packers violated NFL rules by placing Aaron Rodgers back on IR.
